terms or phrases and returns a list of the documents where
those terms were found. Search Engines are lately referred
to Internet Search Engines. Most popular search engines
today are Google, Yahoo, MSN, AllTheWeb, Excite, Lycos,
AOL, HotBot, Altavista. There are over several thousands
search engines and growing every day.
